Paul June is a Marketing and Product Development Executive with extensive experience in the consumer products industry. His expertise includes new business development, conceptualization, product development, new product launches, product branding, sales management, marketing strategies, advertising, public relations, web initiatives, and licensing. His specialties include toys, gifts, apparel, sports and leisure products. He has been instrumental in significantly elevating profits of multi-million dollar consumer products corporations located throughout Southern California.
In January 2009, Mr. June founded his 4th start-up company, Barrel O’Monkeyz (BoM), a full service product marketing firm specializing in interactive digital media, product and brand design, and traditional marketing such as public relations, advertising and research. Built around a troop of hard-working, dynamic, fun-loving marketing and development experts from around the country, BoM provides companies with a top tier alternative to traditional brick-and-mortar agencies. BoM furnishes industry experts, creative ideation and a cost effective agency structure for each project.
Prior to creating his own business, Mr. June served as a valued member of the executive team for Ultra Pro Corporation, a $60MM consumer products umbrella company and the world’s largest manufacturer of sports and gaming storage products, where he assisted in taking the company to the next level. In this capacity, he successfully managed the reorganization and daily operations that exceeded corporate objectives and contributed to increasing revenue from $35MM to $60MM+. Previously promoted to VP of Marketing, he doubled the annual forecasted sales and generated more than $12MM in revenue by creating and implementing effective marketing strategies. Originally hired as VP of Product Development, he generated more than $30MM+ revenue worldwide by driving the product development of gaming and sports storage products om inception through production.
Previously, Mr. June founded Vizion Products, a $1MM automotive storage company, in Redondo Beach, California. He successfully generated over $1MM per year in organizer sales, under Plasticolor, while gaining distribution into national chains. He also established Vizion’s first overseas supply chain, while developing a line of products for Pep Boys.
Mr. June’s background also includes experience as Director of Product Management for Targus Inc./Roundhouse Inc., a $500MM laptop case company located in Anaheim, CA. Roundhouse, the manufacturer of CD Project and Glacier Gear, was sold in 2001 to Targus Inc., the largest manufacturer of computer laptop cases in the world. He helped increase sales from $17MM to over $60MM in two years as part of an elite eight member executive team by managing the development of 200+ branded products per year from concept to the retail shelf.
In addition to marketing and product development knowledge, Mr. June also gained valuable experience as Creative Manager withApplause Gifts & Apparel, a $200MM toys and gifts company, in Woodland Hills, CA, where he directed the creative development of 500+ licensed and non-licensed products, which generated over $30MM in sales. He also produced more than $7MM in sales by bringing Disney’s Winnie the Pooh to market within six months.

from the University of San Diego, San Diego, CA.
